Tie-bar strain sensor
TIE-BAR STRAIN SENSOR (Strain sensor /Tie-bar sensor)
Tie-bar measurement system by wireless communication, Simultaneous strain measurement with four Tie-bars for press, injection molding, blow molding, and die casting machines |
Tie-bar sensor QE1008-W is a distortion meter to measure at the surface of the mounting location by the installation with the magnet with a foil distortion gauge sensor directly (distortion meter).
A steel band and other installation aids are unnecessary for installation, and installation is easily possible very quickly.
By the incorporation of the steel wireless module, it is a superior function and the highest Tie-bar measurement sensor with the usability.
Primary applications include maintenance and research and development of injection molding machines.

◆Main characteristic
- Magnet type Tie-bar sensor: Magnet allows easy installation and can be installed in seconds. Achieves stable strain measurement with high clamping force.
- The strain value is expressed in με, kn or t units.
- An at the same time distortion measurement in up to four Tie-bar is possible. It is also useful as a mold clamping sensor to measure mold clamping force.
- Wireless transmit and receive (2.4 GHz) eliminates the need for cables.
- Can be used on flat surfaces and tie-bars with a diameter of 45 mm or more.
- USB or Bluetooth interface receiver is selectable.
◆Main characteristic
- Early detection of the damage risk of the Tie-bar
- Safe securing of worker
- The trouble prevention of the machine
- Quality control of the product
- The distortion balance measurement of four Tie-bar
- Setup of the machine at the time of the trial run
- At the time of Die exchange or periodical maintenance
