RAYEX - X-ray thickness gauge
The RAYEX X-ray thickness gauge measures wall thickness, outer diameter, and eccentricity using an X-ray measurement system.
It is primarily used for measuring power cables ranging from low voltage to ultra-high voltage.
The new RAYEX-S product is ideal for plastic and rubber hoses, etc.
◆CV lines in environments where nitrogen, vapor, or a combination thereof are considered.
Measurement of wall thickness, eccentricity, diameter, and ellipticity of multilayer cables, multilayer cables insulated with XLPE and EPR, mixed pipes, and multilayer hoses.
◆Microfocus beam reduces scattered X-ray waves, enabling highly accurate and stable measurements.
■RAYEX-D
• Measurement range: Maximum outer diameter φ160mm
• Maximum coating thickness: 40mm
Minimum semiconductor thickness: 0.3mm
• Insulation/conductor material: XLPE or EPR/copper or aluminum (other special materials)
Measurement accuracy: Typically ±0.03mm
Resolution: ±0.01mm
• Scanner system: X-ray scanners for the X and Y axes are set up at 90° intervals from each other.
• Scan mode: Simultaneous high-speed scanning of X/Y axes
